Hi!
My name is Michael and I’m terrible at talking about myself, but you’re here so clearly you’d like to know more about me. Unless of course, you clicked accidentally in which case, uh… you’re welcome to keep reading but I understand if you want to go directly to where you were trying to go.
Oh! You’re still here. Well then, where shall I begin?
I think a good place to start would be to share with you one of my fundamental beliefs which is:
I believe that stories are important, and I believe that everyone has a story to tell.
Not all of us are storytellers, and not all of us have a library of stories that we feel the need to share, but we all have at least one and I want to help people to find their voice and tell their story.
Moving on to the more mundane material, I am Canadian and I currently live near Ottawa where, among other things, I studied Game Development at Algonquin College.
In particular, I have an interest in creating visual effects for games because I feel like it’s a unique combination of both math and art that feels satisfying to be able to combine these two seemingly opposite disciplines together. I also enjoy figuring out the puzzle of good user experience and the problem solving processes of computer programming.
That feels like a good place to start, and if you’d like to chat more feel free to reach out!
Thanks for coming by!
Michael
